I don't want to get up! That was what I thought when I woke up today. It is only Tuesday, but my storage of sleeping is nearly run out. It is getting harder and harder to get up at a warm spring morning. Spring always makes people sleepy, and certainly, I am one of those people. There is a judgement came out in my mind: The value of breakfast can never compare with the value of 30 minutes sleeping. Probably I will give up my journeys to the dining hall as soon as I finish the challenge. I haven't find out any worthy reason for breakfast except it forced me to sleep earlier, but what happen if I have too much work to do? Will I get up in the next morning?
Breakfast in the dining hall are still unalterable. When this morning I walked into dining hall, i received a sad news: the kind of cereal I ate everyday before ran out. Finally the day comes, I have to jump into the world with scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs! What I got for the breakfast was bacon, potatoes and certainly, scrambled eggs.I thought of something when I looked at my plate. Last year when I went for breakfast after break, I always put ketchup and mayonnaise on the scrambled eggs. After I excitedly add those 2 sauce into eggs and put them into my mouth, I realized the flavor don’t fit my taste anymore.
People in the dining hall almost didn’t change. I think the reason of it is those are the people like me,and those people, I did not see, I think will never appear in the dining hall.Almost every morning I could see Matthew and KP from the dorm to the dining hall. Sat on the seat and played with the fork, I saw Leo again.I am pretty sure they goes for breakfast everyday. It is unfair! How can they has breakfast without panda eyes!
I feel more and more like I can not finish this challenge. Although I told myself can not give up, my body might disagree with it. When someday my body win my brain, I will stay on my bed until 8:10.
Something fun happened today. When I was still in dining hall at 8:12 this morning,Harry Li went to my room to ask me if I want to walk to English class with him. “When I get into your room, I saw something wriggling in the quilt. Then I told roommate it was 8:12.” “That is what he does everyday. He’s so confident about his speed of dressing. What did he say to you?” “Oh,Shoot.”
It rains this morning and I took my umbrella. Because my brain was not so clear at that time, my right middle finger was pinched by the umbrella. That’s all breakfast’s fault! This story tells us a theory, it is very dangerous to eat breakfast.

I Like this post -- fun to read. Watch out for confusing tense switches. For example, most of the story is in past tense so say "It rained this morning" in past also (paragraph 6). Also, use everyday as an adjective as in "My everyday shoes are getting worn out" and every day to express an adjective and noun combination as in "That is what he does every day."
ReplyDelete1. I like how you express your regret of choosing this challenge in the first paragraph.
ReplyDelete2. I want to here more about what did you do in the night to help you wake up earlier.
3. Maybe you can shorten your first paragraph a little bit.
4. The structure is a little confused, maybe you can describe what happened first, and then write the analysis.
5. Nearly runs out?"but my storage of sleeping is nearly run out. "
I like his theory lol.
ReplyDeleteSome descriptions about yourself will be good.
Be specific on how you feel while eating breakfast.
More detail about the feeling of this progress
Avoid using too much I as the start of the sentence
