What I changed in draft 2 was the introduction part and thesis statement. It seemed like I have some problem about the structure of intro. Because I divided the intro into 5 paragraph, readers can not really understand what I am talking about. They even can not find out the thesis statement. Then what I did was combine 4 paragraph into 2, one was the conversation between my mon and I, another was I saw the camera. I still insist the conversation is a good opening hook, so I did not change it.

In draft 3 I decided to work on the conclusion. In my current draft, the conclusion part is only a sentence summarizes the essay. To accomplish the essay strongly, I still have a lot of work to do with the conclusion. It should be short and precise.

Technical Judgement
Everything started in the spring vocation. One day, when i was reading my SAT book in the sofa, my mom read out an e-mail in her mail box. “Finally, American schools become the similar with Chinese.” I gave out my opinion, but I still asked a question to my mom: “They won’t install them in our dorm right? Will they?”

Opening the front of VdP, something appeared in my sight.Without think ing, I suddenly noticed that they are black little camera,because I am sure, through those 9 years’ experience in China.

First I want to mention about, none of us doubt about the utility of those cameras in campus. Thanks god, school are willing to pay a big cost to protect us, who can give me a reason to repulse it? Questions, I think, are focusing on those in dorm. When day students are feeling gloat, boarding students lives are under surveillance.After a moment of considering, I got an conclusion. Although security cameras might limit our dorm lives by monitoring, I agree with setting up camera in the campus, because this action can protect our property, make it easy to find suspects in incidents of theft and show self-control.

I first want to claim that, my opinion only works in VdP. Some people insist that setting camera in dorm is illegal, but the truth is it is legal. In the law, it only say that camera can not invade personal territory, but cameras in the hall way are actually count as setting in the public.The angle they set up will not observe into rooms, so those people who thought their lives are suspected can be relieved. Early this year, some strangers came into our campus. Everyone hided under the desk and acted like no one is in school. In fact, if it was an real terrorism attack, it was too late to find out the danger. In that urgency situation, cameras will play an necessary role. Detecting earlier means students are safer. They also make criminal offenders feels tension. If he find that he is under scrutiny, it will be a huge pressure from his mind. After setting the cameras, if people want to do something, they must deal with the cameras first. Cameras increase the possibility to chase the money back and decrease the chance of committing a crime, and substantially protect our property and safety.

Someone doubt about can the camera truly show us the information we want. My answer is certainly it does. Since the first year I came here, thieves haven’t stopped their steps. The biggest event happened last year: One student stole money from almost everyone he could reach, then used those money to buy shoes. Number of students suffered the loss. Fortunately, because that event was an explosive one, the suspect was found 2 days after. When the number of loss isn’t that big, as some of my friends lost, it is too hard to find the perpetrator. Now cameras can tell us everything. For example, if Mr. Kuo in VdP room 213 lost his luxurious golden watch, we can find those people who entered after the last time Mr. Kuo saw his watch and his roommate Fisher. The range of suspect immediately reduce to a few people. That is how cameras help us to find suspects.

After talking about some ideal function of cameras, people will say: “What you talked are useless. The truth is now we can not play wrestling in the hall way anymore; we can not chasing in the hall way anymore; we can not throw our trash furtively in the common room. Every time when we want to walk on the hall way, we must dress like we are going to the prom! These cameras limit our lives and take away our expediency. Those are all their fault.” Actually, I have no idea how to respond it because I have the same thoughts. Just because we can not do whatever we want in the dorm as before, we understand how to be self-control. We will never see those ridiculous things happen in VdP again. Those thing we can’t do anymore are precisely follow the rules. What the cameras limit us are exactly those bad habits.

To sum up the statement below, the camera perfectly finish their job: To protect our safety and drive us to understand self-discipline. Because the original aim of setting cameras is protecting, then we do not to worry about surveillance. Under the big Cheshire community, it does not mean we are doubting each other, setting cameras is just a more controversial method to protect us. We should not think too much of it.

Dear Mr Yang Pengcheng

Thanks for your teaching over the vocation. When I first heard that I have class during the vocation, I repulsed it. I thought that I can not accept it if I did not try to listen to one class.

The first time I saw you, I thought you were callow, because you were only 25 years old. I could not trust you because of the Stereotype of mine.

The first day of class, I memorized 270 words under your teaching. It was an unbelievable success I ever had. I thought the limitation of me was 5 a day, but you refresh my perceive. I learnt a lot from these 14 days.

As a result now I learnt a lot of words and kept working on SAT. Finally I realized that I have the ability to memorize word.

I hope I can see you soon, and actually I will, during the weekends. I am looking forward to having class online.

                        Spelling Bee, Be Spelling

The fantastic the 25th annual putnam county spelling bee was successfully held.

Fortunately I got the rare chance to watch the best show of the year(Although there were only two shows.) In my opinion, the “the 25th annual putnam county spelling bee” is much suitable for us to enjoy than the show “Galileo”, the language level that show. I want to thank for all the actors and workers, they gave us a amazing experience.

When I did the research of the show, I did not realize that the show was that funny. I thought that it would talk about how a champion grew up and how brilliant she is. Although she won the game, she was so modest, so she did not show off her winning. 

It was completely different with my imagination!

If you give me a chance that who makes the show be funny, I will say CJ. His role of the compere was humorous and funny. When Olina spelled two 3 words right, what CJ said was still in my mind. “May I have a definition please?” “No.” “Oh..” “But you did not ask for a sentence,” “Oh! Can you use that in a sentence?” “...Hell no :D” All the sentence in the the spelling bee he used does not help at all, and always made us laugh for a while.

Other characters in the show also had their all special characteristics, I still remember them all. A boy always said that it was a rection. He was out because he spelled something wrong and he tried to fix it. At the beginning he started to show his dissatisfaction to the officers, because they are spelling different difficult words. When they are spelling a very long word, the audiences who went to the stage only need to spell words like cow, Mexican. A girl who called for Jesus, and Jesus came from the door! That moment was really surprising and all of the audiences started to laugh. This story tells us never call for a god for something bad, because it will become true. A girl always opened her arms and shouted her words lordly. Unfortunately she left the stage early but she was always the happy one. A girl who always spoke s as th. I thtruggled with thith when I wath thtudying English back home, now I find out that American doeth not really care about it. Pay attention to th because it will spray your slaver out. A girl who used her foot to spell words and at last won the spelling bee. I am still worried about did they clean the coke on the ground because it is sticky.
